HEADING the first service club in Squamish and the newest Lions Club in North America is popular resident Pat Flack. Honoring the occasion with a special trainload of more than 350 members of Lions Clubs from all parts of B.C. and Washington who arrived 6 p.m. Saturday and left later that night. Presentation of charter was by Lanche Crowe, district governor, and guest speaker was Ray C. Freeman, international Lion counsellor. George Wong presented gifts and founder of the club, Wilf Munton, International Counsellor, was a master of ceremonies. A delicious dinner was enjoyed in the Squamish High School with the Canadian Legion Women's Auxiliary catering.
