The Squamish Wind is an annual journal written and printed by the pupils of Squamish High School, the name of Howe Sound Secondary School before the school had a dedicated building. The books include anecdotes of and references to prominent figures, important events, and life in early Squamish.
The Squamish Public Library owns two copies of this issue. One belonged to Anne Moore (nee Lasser) and the other is unmarked. This is in black and white and is 6 x 9” inches.

The 1950-1951 Squamish High annual yearbook edited by Glenn Valde. This issue is dedicated to the Squamish & Britannia Beach Parent-Teacher Association. Squamish High School is the name of Howe Sound Secondary School before the school had a dedicated building. The books include anecdotes of and references to prominent figures, important events, and life in early Squamish.
This particular copy belonged to Del Tatlow, daughter of Clarence and Rose Tatlow. It is in black and white and is 8.5 x 11” inches.

A booklet on Squamish history, with photos, stories, maps and more. It was created as a part of British Columbia centennial celebrations that carried across the province in 1958. According to the booklet, 1888 was the beginning of real settlement that led to the formation of the town of Squamish.

This is an annual school journal that was written, edited and published by the students of Squamish High School.
The library archive has two copies of this version of The Squamish Wind. The one that is scanned here is the one that is in better condition (the first copy), except for the autograph pages. These are blank in the first copy, but full in the second copy.
